CloseEvent Update
Dear runners,
It is with great disappointment that we must announce that this weekend’s McKinney Games, due to take place on Saturday 4th October, has been postponed as a result of Storm Amy and the severe weather warnings currently in place.
We have been incredibly excited to host this event, with thousands of runners registered across seven races. However, when we do things we like to do them right, and our first priority must be the safety of our runners.
With winds of up to 50mph and heavy rainfall forecast for Saturday, we know that we could not deliver the safe and enjoyable experience that both you and we expect from the McKinney Games.
That does not mean we have given up – we are already actively working towards a new date in Spring 2026, and are liaising with our vendors to get this secured as soon as possible. Once we have confirmed the date, we will share it first with our currently registered runners before opening up additional places to the public.
